ReplyDelete1) Is obviously a Blackadder joke, but it's been ages since I've seen the first series and I really can't recall. I'd assume it's something suitably bombastic for everyone's favourite accidental monarch.
2) Let's go with Captain Blood.
3) Infrared.
4) The Crimson Permanent Assurance!
5) Given the theme there are many options! Paprika, turmeric, saffron, probably more! I'll go with paprika, but who knows?
6) I'll go for Miss Scarlet. Because, y'know, theme.
7) A Study In Red? With my luck it'll turn out to be some flowery synonym like Scarlet or Crimson or Carmine. :/

2) It could be Robin Hood for all I know but then there was also The Seahawk but I think that came later.
Fun Fact: The composer of the score for The Seahawk lined up the music perfectly that when his name appeared in the credits there was an amazing fanfare. Made the directors name in the credits feel tame in comparison.
Let's just go with Robin Hood and expect to be wrong knowing that it's in colour and the first colour movie was the Wizard of which I know for a fact was in 1939.

4) I believe it was the Crimson Permanent Assurance who attacked Monty Python's The Meaning of Life.
5) I hate Latin plant names. The spice could be Scary, Sporty, Baby, Posh or Ginger for all I know.
6) Never saw the film but I do know the best ending is, "Now if you excuse me I wish to go home and have sex with my wife!" Let's just go with Mrs Peacock as a wild guess.
7) If it was the first Sherlock Holmes book then it was A Study in Scarlet. Half of which is about Mormon pilgrimage in Utah that nobody cared about. I know I skipped it. If it is in fact not a Sherlock Holmes book then congratulations. You got me.
8) I'm really showing how bad I'm going at this quiz. Show's what I know about general trivia. If however you had asked me to make a risotto, then you would be impressed.
9) Don't really know who or what the demon Etrigan even is. But if you'd asked where the Melbourne Demons are on the ladder right now I could tell you they are in 14th.
10) The Red Fox! I know one!
